OK, fine, I tested my internet speed: what now?

Use the information from the test to dig into the details of your internet connection service contract, and contact your provider (ISP) to let them know if you are not getting the service that you are paying for. Between the ever-advancing technology, differing levels of service available in different geographic regions, and problems/issues that sometimes occur, such as outages and slowdowns, there is a great variation in speeds, sometimes even on the same machine.
